It is our pleasure to invite you to participate in the U15 Player's Camps at Whistle Bear Golf Club. This is the premier junior camp in the GTA for competitive golfers looking to take their games to the next level. This program is coached by award winning Class "A" PGA Professionals Cory Southon, Shauna Wilde and Chris Dominick. Participants will be playing 9 holes at Whistle Bear Golf Club daily, as well as going through a series of skills development training stations throughout the rest of the day. 


Dates Offered in 2018: July 16-20th & August 13th-17th


  • 1st Class High Performance Training Camp for U15 athletes
  • Limited to 12 participants – this program is designed for competitive junior golfers who are looking for an advanced junior camp experience
  • 4:1 Athlete/Coach ratio – Coached exclusively by PGA of Canada ‘Class A’ Professionals
  • Open to golfers aged 10-14 who want golf to be their primary sport & aspire to play high level junior golf/ NCAA level golf in the future
  • 5 Day Camp – Monday-Friday - 8:30am-3:30pm daily 
  • Participants play Whistle Bear daily – 9 holes each morning- on course coaching and simulated Ryder Cup Competition on Thursday/Friday
  • Nutritious lunches provided daily in the Whistle Bear Club House - beverages and snacks also included
  • Athletes will receive coaching and training in all aspects of the game- understand the pathway to high performance junior and NCAA golf
  • TrackMan launch monitor will be used for skills assessment and a find your distances session
  • Gift package for all participants
  • Awards Ceremony and prizes on Friday afternoon

Sample Players’ Camp Itinerary

8:15am: Arrival & Registration 

8:30am-9:00am: Welcome meeting and dynamic warm up

9:00am-11:30am: On course training – Play 9 holes with a PGA of Canada Professional. Focus will be on coaching/skill development: On course strategy, tactics, self-management, mental game skills, rules and etiquette. 

Thursday/Friday: Ryder Cup Style Tournament - tournament preparation training, including pre/post- round strategy and nutrition

11:30am-12:30pm: Lunch in the Whistle Bear Clubhouse

12:30pm-2:30pm: Skills Development Coaching and Training Stations

2:30pm-3:30pm: Daily Ryder Cup Contest - competitive team matches

3:30pm-End of Day: Pick Up
