The Learn to Play Development Team is designed for junior golfers who want to improve their game in a fun, supportive, and structured environment. Led by award-winning PGA of Canada Professional Ethan Hunt, this program helps athletes develop strong fundamentals while building the skills and habits needed to enjoy and succeed in golf.

Athletes will work on key areas of the game including putting, chipping, full swing, and on-course habits. This program is ideal for juniors who are new to golf or building their skills while discovering the joy of the game.

Team practices focus on skill development through engaging drills, games, and coaching activities. Each practice concludes with par-3 style holes played on the range, allowing players to apply their skills, make decisions, and practice scoring in a simulated on-course environment.

Athletes will also participate in Operation 36 playing events at Whistle Bear and Merry Hill, where they can test their skills in real playing situations while working toward the goal of shooting 36 from their respective yardage.

To support individual improvement, each athlete will receive private coaching sessions that provide personalized feedback and focused development. Families can follow their athlete’s progress through the Operation 36 app, where players track scores, earn achievements, and progress through development levels.

The Learn to Play team will be coached by PGA of Canada Professional Ethan Hunt.
