2024 Camp Registration Now Open!

The Summer Camps at Whistle Bear Golf Club is an industry-leading full-day junior golf program that operates weekly throughout July & August. This is a fun and dynamic program for kids ages 7-13 and is led by PGA of Canada Development Coaches. Junior camp participants will develop the necessary fundamentals and club delivery skills which will provide them with a proper foundational start in the sport. We offer an on-course training opportunity at a Private Facility that provides each participant with the opportunity to learn playing skills, rules, strategy & etiquette at Whistle Bear Golf Club.


  • Led by PGA of Canada Professionals and development coaches.

  • No experience or equipment is necessary. We will provide properly fitted equipment to participants who do not have their own clubs.

  • Participants learn to play golf through skills development training stations and on-course play at Whistle Bear Golf Club.

  • Full-day program: drop off at 8:45am- 9:00am and pick up at 2:45pm-3:00pm.

  • 10:1 golfer-to-coach maximum ratio.

  • Camp celebration and awards ceremony on Friday afternoon

  • Camp tuition- $479.99 + HST ($384.99 + HST for 4-day week)

  • Space per week is limited to the first 25 participants – we anticipate this program will sell out – sign up now!

  • Whistle Bear members receive priority registration.

9:00am: Introduction, dynamic warm-up

9:30am: Demonstrations led by PGA of Canada Professionals

10:00am: Skills development training stations - full swing and movement station

12:00pm: Lunches provided by chefs at the Whistle Bear Golf Club.

1:00pm: Skills development training stations - short game and putting

2:45pm: Daily wrap up & discussion

3:00pm: Pick up


FAQ

Where is the location of the Golf Camp? The camp takes place at Whistle Bear Golf Club - 1316 Dickie Settlement Rd, Cambridge, ON N3H 4R8

Where is the drop off/pick up location? Drop off is at 9:00am and end of day pick up is at 3:00pm at the Whistle Bear Clubhouse.

What do you do if it rains? In the event of inclement weather we have organized indoor activities and the camp will go on as scheduled.

What is the daily schedule? The schedule will change daily depending on golf course activities and availability but each day will consist of multiple training/coaching stations, fun golf specific activities, and lunch.

What do the participants need to bring with them to camp? Please ensure that all students have athletic golf attire as well as sunscreen with an SPF of 30 or higher. If they have clubs please bring them. If not, we will happily provide a set for the week. Please see Whistle Bear's guidelines and dress codes.

How do I register if I want to pay cash or cheque? Please register by sending an email to ethan.hunt@whistlebear.ca with your child's full name, age and the week you want to attend. We will respond with additional information and a confirmation.

Is lunch included? Yes, a nutritious lunch is provided daily by Vair’s Restaurant at Whistle Bear.

My child has a restricted diet. Does the camp have other food options? Yes, please send your food requests to ethan.hunt@whistlebear.ca and we will try our best to accommodate.

Do you have an early drop off and/or after care program? No, we do not provide early drop off and/or after care program.
